Album US 2016 on Lay Bare Recordings label
Electronic (Experimental, Dark Ambient)
Thief's debut LP Thieves Hymn in D Minor throws away the use of synths and pads and is crafted almost entirely out of manipulated sacred orthodox music. It’s seven electronic tombs beautifully unravel over distorted beats creating a lush, shimmering atmosphere. Mixing electronica, trip hop, and experimental sounds together. Limited Edition Oxblood Vinyl. Most included custom art by artist on shipping box. Versions of the same record can include the artwork from the album cover as a screen print and a postcard with download code.
