A.k.a. Maf Lewis, Rohan Tarry &Tara Busch
Dynamo Dresden formed in March 2001 when Maf Lewis, Managing Director of Plastic Raygun Records, met singer/songwriter Tara Busch at the Winter Music Conference in Miami. At the time, Lewis was looking to recruit a new collaborator/vocalist for his new project in Cardiff which was to involve himself & Rohan Tarry, the producer of Jean Jacques Smoothie's top 20 UK hit, '2People'. Dynamo Dresden are very much a live band. Instruments played include guitar, bass, flute, Theremin and a variety of souped up synths and home made electronics. 'Reminiscent of the boys from Air, jamming with Groove Armada in an Amsterdam coffee shop' said BBC Radio 1 about Dynamo Dresden.
