Single UK 1967 on Studio One label
Reggae (Rocksteady)
Both sides are credited to Gaylads, however, both sides are different artists. The Gaylads were not involved in any way with these sides. Earl Lowe was later to be known with his stage name Little Roy. In Jamaica this was issued as Earl Lowe. The B-side peace appeal song was issued in Jamaica with the title "Thrown Down Your Weapons". The A-side is actually by Little Roy, and it was his first ever tune, inspired from hearing his brother singing whilst watering the garden... he cut this tune at Studio One with the supervision of Jackie Mittoo....after this recording Little Roy was a while before cutting any other sides, B-side is actually The Melodians "Let's Join Together" (Throw Down Your Weapon)...adapted
