Ed Mazurʼs latest track “Gravityʼs Pull” delivers the tech house good with a smoking original paired up with remixes by Brett Johnson and Emanate. The San Francisco based duo Emanate (aka Nathan Vain & Emily Fox ) is rapidly making their mark on the tech house world with their label Mioli (Move It Or Lose It) that showcases a mix of their own productions and remixes alongside other up and coming artists and remixers. They are both long time DJs who have played at big clubs and parties all over San Francisco and were guest DJs for several years with the massive Opulent Temple Burning Man camp. For Emanateʼs productions you can expect a clever blend and balance of deep, driving and edgy music and this one is no different. Finally, the original mix by label head Ed Mazur. Ed is also based in San Francisco and has been a regular on the underground circuit for many years. He first garnered notice with his floor-shaking house remix of Radiohead's "A Punchup At A Wedding", released on vinyl on the Tweekin Records run Fresh Press imprint. He is also known for his epic Burning Man sets as a resident with the Green Gorilla Lounge and now Disco Knights camps where he plays alongside the likes of Magda, Thugfucker, M.A.N.D.Y, Wolf and Lamb and many other top notch talent. His label House on the Hill showcases his tastes in the rich variety that exists in the spectrum of house music. Fans of melodic tech house will love the original mix of the track as three different lead synths take turns throughout, before the four on the floor beat finally gives way to a breakbeat inspired breakdown. A massive kettle drumroll create tension while a panorama of vocal samples assault the senses.
