16. Aug. 1891 (Baltimore, Maryland) - 19. Sept. 1950 (Los Angeles, California) Eddie Green was a legendary songwriter / composer, influencing several decades of blues / jazz artists. He later became a famous actor, comedian, film director and studio owner. One of his best known songs is A Good Man Is Hard to Find, published and first offered for sale as a piano roll in the Fort Wayne Journal-Gazette, on 12th December 1918. Until today there are more than 150 known cover version of this song.
