A.k.a. Edward Allen Drennen
Violinist - arranger - producer Born in Newark, New Jersey, U.S. Bo Diddley’s music director and electric violinist from 1966 until 1967, and a former sideman for Mongo Santamaria, Ray Barretto and Ike & Tina Turner. Scoring a major disco hit, in 1975, with “Let’s Do The Latin Hustle”, went on to record three dance-inspiring albums with Eddie Drennon & The B.B.S. Unlimited, in the late-1970s, and produce New York-based salsa and charanga band, Orchestra Tipica Novel, in 1981 and 1982. He is currently a member of the Umoja String Quartet.
