A.k.a. Edward Clay Robinson
Eddie C. Robinson, (Died Detroit April 25, 2014). The singer/songwriter/musician/producer from Detroit, USA was perhaps the most traveled artist in the gospel field. Japan, Africa, Germany, Finland, you name the country and chances are Robinson had performed there. Robinson was a cast member of "Hair," the "tribal love rock musical" then being presented at the Vestpocket Theatre on W. Grand River. That was in the early '70s. Shortly thereafter he was on the national charts with a message song entitled "Hey Blackman."
