Writer of the song Zindy Lou. Another 1940's West Coast bandleader that little is known about, Eddie Smith didn't have a very lucrative recording career. He recorded one side for the tiny W&W label in Los Angeles in 1946. (The flip side went to another unknown artist). Three years later he waxed one 78 for Specialty, and that was the last that was heard from him.
