Edgardo Morales; known as "El Timbalero" in the Latin music community, was born March 15, 1955. He is well known musical collaborations with artists such as Tommy Olivencia, Bobby Valentin, La Sonora Ponceña and Andy Montañez. Edgardo Morales was the musical genius behind the Timbales and the Tambora for the legendary band El Gran Combo from 1979-1988. He passed away suddenly on March 19, 2013.
