Born April 4th, 1892 in St. Petersburg, Russia. Died June 24th, 1923 in Raivola, Kivennapa, Finland. (nowadays Russia) A Finnish poet who wrote in Swedish language. Edith Södergran is one of Finland's most famous poets abroad - her poems have been translated to 16 languages.
