Album NL 2009 on Trademark Of Quantity label
Electronic (Experimental, Ambient)
This plain white CDr came packaged in a white sleeve with laser printed stickers on front and back. A paper insert contained the following text: "Edward Ka-Spel and The Silverman The Whispering Wail Mid Winter 2004 and an old tradition is being maintained. The Silverman is surrounded by an assortment of keyboards manufactured over the previous 30 years, while Edward Ka-Spel is wrestling with a Korg MS2000 and a shortwave radio hooked up to one of the synthesizer's audio inputs. It's a small space in Phil's tiny apartment. Church bells ring every 30 minutes. Both participants are British so there are tea breaks. The object was to find a direction for the upcoming album 'The Whispering Wall', but encouragingly these sessions always deviated from such a narrow path and grew wings of their own. This CDR represents a small fraction of those recordings. There has been a little editing and on track 2 some serious taming of Ka-Spel's explosive radio." The insert goes on to provide the tracklisting.
