The story goes that a Chinese fellow was selling these outside the Berlin U-Bahn. Considering the participation of the Chinese Labor Corps. on the Western Front in WWI and the common transliteration misspelling of Marchinery, the story seems pretty sound. However, if the label itself is supposedly from Berlin, were these flash drives actually made in China? I purchased several from a fellow who supposedly bought them from the China-man. Purportedly only 50 were ever made.
