Petr Dvorak, known as Electribe, has recently become a Czech icon in the electronic scene in his country due to his vilupcious and rich dedication to both production and DJing. Starting as a child music was a part of his life. Since he was very young, Petr started to take some music lessons. His parents bought him piano when he was 7 years old. In the following 8 years he improved very quickly with the basics for playing on a piano as an instrument. Petr has always showed an interest for electronic dance music, especially for melodic, euphoric and uplifting trance. In his teens he became involved in the club scene, fell in love with trance music and began DJing in small local clubs. His mixes are well known for its rare and sophisticated tracks. Energetic uplifting & progressive trance, often with vocals - this is music you can expect in Petr's mixes. His unique mixing precision and sensual style in trance and progressive music, combined with a live performance on keyboard or with a singer, earned him soon the title of the best trance/progressive DJ in the Czech Republic. Beside playing, he started working with electronic sound, experimenting in different styles and genres late in the summer of 2006, with no intention of making music, only with 8 years of playing on piano. It motivated him to work on improvement of his sound, so he devoted a number of years to learning the basics of sound engineering and digital mastering. He was introduced to arranging and composing of music mostly by himself or in parallel, watching the works of the established and new wave trance and progressive producers around the globe. His career started in 2009 after almost 3 years of experimenting he signed his first official tracks "Trancemigration" and "Space Tour", which were immediately recognized and supported by several DJs and producers. With his tracks played and supported by Roger Shah, Pedro del Mar, Jorn Van Deynhoven, Claudia Cazacu, Angel Ace, Ben Nicky, Sasha da Link / Ingsha, Tom Colontonio, Suzy Solar, Karybde & Scyla just to mention a few, he finally found his sound in the trance scene and is now finally starting to spread it all around the globe. Next success put in an appearance early, when Roger Shah chose his remix for his release "Darling Harbour", which released on one of the biggest label Magic Island / Armada in the beginning of 2010. Nowadays, Electribe is fully applying oneself as a producer and remixer of the music containing progressive, trance and electro sound. Electribe is always glad to meet new acquaintances and collaborators. His further ambition is to get into the subconsciousness of the listeners worldwide and most of all to work hard and improve his production so that he can convey the best of his work and feeling to all the people. The radio show Be Around In A Trance is another part of Electribes presentation and it is always getting more popular. At present, you can listen the latest in energetic, vocal, uplifting and melodic side of trance twice a month in a two hour set. But also expect to hear classics that have remained unheard for so many years. The show is broadcast on several radio stations all over the world. Whether it will be an afterhours party, commuting to work or on the way to the club, this show will put you in the right frame of mind.
