The project originated from the join of ElectricCity bassist Massimiliano Cignitti and pianist-keyboardist and composer Mauro Scardini, united by their great passion for the so-called electric jazz played by great artists such as Chick Corea inspiring, Jellowjackets, the Miles Davis eighties and so on. The first turning point of the band takes place in the spring of 1997 with the entry into the Marco Ciancaglini training on guitar and with the gradual maturation of musical Cignitti and Scardini outcome of intensive studies and various musical experiences and with the help of a good horn section (Antonello Sorrentino: trumpet, Stefano Arduini: soprano sax; Sandro Satta: alto sax) leads to the first record achievement "ElectricCity" (Panastudio Productions); with the presence, in addition to the aforementioned Cignitti, Scardini and Ciancaglini, Antonio Ceccaroni, drummer from 1998 to '99. The core music of the group is still made up of the compositions of Mauro Scardini.
