Musical Risk: Suriname

Album 2002 on Mental Euthanasia Productions label
Electronic and Classical (Experimental, Sound Collage, Rhythmic Noise, Musique Concrète, Neo-Classical)

Musical Risk was an aborted project originated by jazz musician Jamison Williams in which each artist would claim a country through a 30-minute piece of music. The artist also had to include a conquering speech, as well as play a version of the country's national anthem on solo instrument. Once all of the countries were claimed, the musicians would battle for them through improvised musical performances in front of an audience. The audience would then decide the winner of the country.
