Album US 2011 on Uniform Recordings label
Electronic (Electro, Synth-pop)
With the seductive allure of leather and lace, Eleven:Eleven debuts on Uni.form with its magnetic EP entitled, “Infection”. On this auspicious release, elemental beats concocted by mad scientist Jake Childs are tamed by Sicca's enticing, creamy vocals. Tied off with a remix by Fixture, Infection offers up a satisfying plate of dark, synthy flavor. On the first track, "Infection," Sicca channels the pop-punk voice of young Debbie Harry, while Jake Childs evokes images of a chocolate-covered disco ball ricocheting off the dance floor into space - the result is as infectious as the name itself. In "Electric Sex," Sicca's angelic vocals saunter down a dark hallway, with Childs' arpeggios creeping up close behind. When the two sync up, this lusty track explodes into a shirt-ripping, pants-dropping electrofrenzy. Windows rolled down, zig-zagging across lanes, Houston producer Fixture takes "Electric Sex" for a joy ride. His amplifying, unapologetic remix offers a vehicle for both the fast and the furious. Jake Childs' "3am" remix follows chase, weaving through traffic, but opting for a route of intimate, dark tunnels. Sicca's illuminating voice lights the way as the track picks up the pace. Eleven:Eleven brings the Infection EP full circle with "Pawn," – a harmonic production with sweeping synths and chromatic vocals. This tune is nothing short of temptation-laden romance. In conjunction with Beltaine, Eleven:Eleven will bring forth its first album, "Through the Veil," on 05.01.12. Released by: Uniform Recordings
