kort na het beëindigen van de radioserie ‘Mimosa’, in 1956, kreeg Eli Asser van de firma Davo opdracht een reclameplaatje te maken. Het verscheen in een bescheiden oplage. Met de vaste acteurs van ‘Mimosa’ en een gastrol van Johnny Kraaijkamp. Hoort bij het boek "Het Zal Je Kind Maar Wezen"; a collection of lyrics by Eli Asser. The book also contains explanations regarding the selection, a discography, bibliography and this CD. This book is published in the "Pluche"-series by Nijgh & Van Ditmar. The disc is housed in a paper sleeve glued to inside of the backcover. The recording is originally released in 1956 as a promotional single by DAVO, a manufacturer of fireplaces. The original cast of the popular radio play Mimoza was reunited for this recording, with Johnny Kraaijkamp as a guest voice actor. As far as known no episodes of Mimoza have been preserved, and is this the only recording available. The original single is a rare collectors item; as not many copies have been made.
