EliKuka (ЕлиКука in Russian) is a Moscow art-duo, formed by Eugeny Kukoverov and Oleg Eliseev in 2007. Oleg and Evgeny had been mentored by Soviet "new wave" veterans Georgy Ostretsov and Georgy Litichevsky. They work with different media, from paintings to installations and performances. EliKuka presented a number of personal exhibitions in Moscow, London, and Paris; participated in Russian Lettrism (Русский леттризм), New Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow and Relative Connections (Относительные связи), St Petersburg projects. The name of the group is formed by the first letters of founders' surnames, but it also means 'ели Кука' (had been eating [James] Cook) in Russian.
