Album 2010 on Bomb Shop label
Dance (Leftfield, Dub, Techno)
Elias Linn's third outing on Bomb Shop is among his most intricate and explosive work to date - ranging from deep, Basic Channel-esque grooves to ecstatic synth-driven space funk, this is a huge sound destined to destroy (or at least happily confuse) dancefloors. Linn's 2008 debut for Bomb Shop ("Slope / Rough Field Recording 1 / Thinner Than Recall") remains the label's best selling release to date - this two tracker looks set to take the title. With early support and acclaim from Philip Sherburne ("Both tracks are amazing!"), Simon Harrison ("Hellersdorf is ACE"), Dancon1 ("Right up there with the Untolds / Eskmos of this planet"), Development ("Deep, low slung, fascinating stuff"), Common Ground and plenty more, plus some heavy airplay reports coming in from around Europe (FM4, Couleur3, Resonance +), the freshness of Mr Linn's sound is not going unnoticed.
