The band Elipse ("The Ellipses") started in 1963 in Belgrade, Serbia (former Yugoslavia). In the beginning they played covers of The Shadows and became very popular in the mid 60's. After Edi Dekeng joined the band as singer in 1967, they changed music orientation to r'n'b/soul. The group was disbanded by the end of 1968. Members were: Minja Tasić - vocals Slobodan Skakić Skaka - vocals Radomir Dmitrović Ðura - solo guitar Kosta Ignjatović Gule - sax Momčilo Radovanović Moma - rhythm guitar Bojan Hreljac Boca - bass (later Korni Grupa) Vladimir Furduj Furda - drums (ex Siluete, later Korni Grupa) Zoran Simjanović Simke - keyboards (ex Siluete) Simeon Vuković Simica - solo guitar Edi Dekeng - vocals (from 1967) Nikola Zembić Nidža - trumpet (from 1967) Zoran Jurkić - sax, flute (1967) Dragan Kuprijanov - sax (from 1967)
