Elisabeth was born in Athens. She had classical studies: in piano, as a solist in opera vocals and in music theory. She has taken a certificate and a diploma in piano studies, three certificates in music theory and a diploma as a solist in opera vocals. She has worked as a teacher for piano and for vocals lessons in music schools in Athens and she has taught vocals in members of Greek metal bands. She has also taken part in choruses with solist members from the National Opera Theater in Greece and she has participated in European Chorus Festivals. Now, about metal scene… Elisabeth was the female part of En-Garde. She has made all the female vocals and she has played synths and the piano, too. She has written the lyrics and the biggest part of the music. En-Garde had made something unique for those days, combining gothic-metal music with opera female vocals and creating their personal sound and style En Garde a released 7” EP “Negative Self Image” and two cd’s: “Comedia de l’ Arte” and “Forgotten Memories” . Elisabeth has also done guest vocals in the “Life Odium” song from “Womb of Maggots”, all the female vocals in a demo and the latest cd of “Uranus” and in the song “Nexus in Utero” of “Nipto tas heiras”. She had a proposition to sing in “Odes of Ecstasy” from End Records but she denied for personal reasons. She has done guest female vocals in the song “Hatred” in “Crossover”s cd “Pythagorized”. Nowadays, she is the frontwoman in the experimental gothic-death metal band Theia Tragodia.
