French actress, musician, singer and writer born in 23 November 1946. Daughter of French composer Jean Wiener’s, Elisabeth started professionally at the age of 16 in French theatre, television, cinema and musical comedies. She had several female roles in French movies, working with directors and French partners such as Roger Planchon, Claude Régy, Clouzot, Vadim, Rivette, Dewaere, Depardieu, Gainsbourg, Terzieff, and Jeanne Moreau. At 22, she studied at Berklee School of music. She recorded 3 albums for Virgin, and worked with Jacques Higelin, both in studio and live. She has played extensively in the greatest Parisian theatres (Olympia, Bobino, Forum des halles), and in Avignon festival, playing the musical comedy "No woman’s land". She has also created several bands like "Phoenix", “Castafiore bazooka” (from 1995 to 2008) and "Callas Nikoff".
