Elizabeth Brown is an American orchestral and chamber cellist, a member of Quartet Nouveau and Tarab Cello Ensemble, and a private cello instructor in the United States, Mexico, and Europe. Born in San Diego, California, Elizabeth began playing the cello at the age of four, and later attended Eastman School Of Music, where she studied with Alan Harris (7) and Pamela Frame, and received her Bachelor's and Master of Music degrees. As a soloist, Elizabeth Brown had been performing with the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra, Aspen Festival Orchestra, California Chamber Orchestra, The Classics Philharmonic, and other ensembles. In 2005, she moved to Mexico and spent over four seasons as the principal cellist of Orquesta Sinfonica Sinaloa de las Artes in Sinaloa. Brown has participated in a few international festivals, such as Aspen Music Festival, Ojai Festival, Moulin d'Ande Festival in France, Great Lakes Chamber Music Festival and AIMS Festival in Austria.
