This is a dual release of one track each by Elizabeth Veldon and Giles Jacobs (the latter appearing on behalf of the Landscape Music group Placement - to whom the credit appears on the artwork.) It's a digital release of two dissimilar tracks, where both have their origins in the same set of field recordings - captured onboard a train travelling from Milngavie to Glasgow Central station. The Giles Jacobs/Placement track offers a kind of cut and paste rhapsody of sketches and interludes which are coloured along the way by the 'on location' train audio - while Elizabeth's piece concentrates this source material into a solid yet animated mass of motive sound.
