Although she would later change her forename to Tori, Myra Ellen Amos was a young music student from Baltimore who won a Baltimore Orioles songwriting contest with her brother Mike. Their winning song, "Baltimore," was pressed on a 7" vinyl and distributed locally. After Amos became famous as Tori Amos, the alternative pop/rock artist, Ellen Amos' only single suddenly became a huge collector's item.
