The strings in Tessalation Row and Re/Iterations are all tuned to ratios of adjacent Fibonacci numbers: 1/1, 2/1, 3/2, 5/3, 8/5. Digital, Diurnal and Ringtoss were all composed in December 1986 and may be considered three movements of a single piece. The cover image is a Zapotec Indian design from the site of Monte Alban in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico.
