Concertina player and bandleader from New Ulm, Minnesota. Born 1921, died May 4, 2012, in St. Paul, Minnesota. Played with The John Fritsche Band, The Six Fat Dutchmen, and The Babe Wagner Band. Managed The Babe Wagner Band from 1949 to 1951. Formed own band in 1951 and performed for the next 50 years. Inducted into Minnesota Music Hall of Fame in 1995. Known as "Perhaps the best concertina player New Ulm ever had."
