From the rear sleeve: Reginald Keneth (sic) Dwight, known as Elton John, started his career in London as a piano and organ player in the "Bluesology" band during 1966. After meeting with the poet Bernie Taupin he was confirmed as one of the new talents of Rock Music. This album retraces a faithful "portrait" of the pianist and singer Elton John.
