Album US 1909 on Victor label
Classical, Folk, World and (Vocal)
German Tenor With Orchestra Side A (Mx. B-3092-3) and Side B (Mx. B-3094-4) were recorded Philadelphia, PA, February 8, 1906. "Haidenröslein" on the label is a typo for "Heidenröslein" [= Rose on the Heath]. This record remained in the Victor catalog from November, 1908 - October, 1926. This early Patent Label, which lists five lines of patent information at the label's lower edge, ending with the Aug. 25, 1908 patent, was used between fall 1908 - early 1911; thus this example represents one of the first pressings.
