Musician / Composer / Conductor of Classical
Classical violinist and conductor (b. 1892, Hungary - d. 1988 Holte, Denmark). On a tour he visited Denmark in 1912 and married Anne Marie Telmányi, daughter of Danish composer, Carl Nielsen. In 1925-26 he lead the Göteborgs Symfoniker. He remarried in 1936 to pianist to Annette Telmányi (Maiden name Annette Schiøler). He lead the all family quintet Telmányi-Kvintetten including besides his wife their three daughters, Anika Telmányi, Ilona Telmányi and Mihályka Telmányi
