Born in Yerevan on November 30, 1983, Emmanuel Hovhannisyan is one of the most accomplished musicians and leading duduk players in Armenia. Upon completion of his initial musical education at the H. Danielyan Art School in 1998, Emmanuel Hovhannisyan went on with his professional musical studies at Yerevan State Komitas Conservatory where he pursued his graduate (2000-2005) and post-graduate (2005-2007) degrees, and where he is now employed, ever since 2005, as an assistant professor in the class of professor Gevorg Dabaghyan.
