Empier Entertainment is a Houston-based music label founded in 2007 by Maurice “Docman” Robinson. Originally known as Junior Hustle Click, or JHC, it began as a group of street hustlers ran by Doc; bringing in roughly $1,000 a week. Inspired by the romans, the group initially called themselves Empire, but changed the spelling as a distinct reminder that they are unlike any other. Just like all powerful empires, this one has been through several trials, triumphs, and team members to gain the status it has today. Currently, there are six artist of Empier Entertainment. Docman is the hard spitta from Queens, NY with a heavy influence from Neo Soul. He is joined by Houston’s very own TBronz, Babyboy, and JK, their music brings a fiery combination of potency and raw emotion. Together, complimented by the smooth but daring vocals of Indiana native Jay Shalé and Louisiana’s singer-slash-rapper, Meetchie, these artist producer quality Hip-Hop and R&B. The label has release 3 mixtapes (Its Just Different, Double EE, and Its Just Different 2), 4 EPs (I Know You Doubt Me, Mind of Never, The DOCument, and More Than Love), and one album (Trade It All). Empier Ent is gearing up to release their latest efforts, Studio X, due December 14th. Although there are an independent, Empier Entertainment plans on making a big impact in the entertainment industry.
