Enio Benassi (Piombino, 25 May 1965 - Florence, 7 January 2019) was an Italian bass player, involved in the Tuscan punk, post-punk, dark wave and gothic rock scenes. He is remember as the first bass player of Limbo performing live from mid 1985 to early 1988 and recording the tracks of the debut mini-album "Poisoned Kisses In Limbo" in late 1985. He also recorded the debut LP of Limbo, of which only few (remixed) tracks were officially released on the double-CD anthology "Early Works (1984-1987)". He was active as musician from 1979 to 2009 and died in early 2019 because of an ictus, after years of illness.
