Romanian composer , anto and piano teacher from italian origins ✰ November 17, 1870, Iași ✞ May 25, 1930, Iași, burried at „Eternitatea” Cemetery, Iași Son of italian composer Pietro Mezzetti, first teacher of „Școala de muzică și artă dramatică”, later Iași Conservatory Education: - graduated with first prize Iași Conservatory with Gavriil Musicescu as teacher - Liceo musicale di Bologna, where studied composition with Giusseppe Martucci as teacher Between 1894-1930 director, canto and piano teacher at Iași Conservatory Part of his students becam famous opera, operetta singers as : Giovanni Dumitrescu, Dimitrie Onofrei, Constantin Stroescu and many others Composed songs for piano, romanțe, serenades, lieder, cantatas, chorus songs. He also dedicated for arranging romanian traditional folk music
