A.k.a. El Negri
Enrique Heredia, Negri (Madrid, 1972). Singer, percussionist, guitarrist. Negri forms part of the great flamenco dynasty, los Montoyita. He entered fully into the Spanish music scene to form, along with Paquete, the group La Barbería del Sur, who released between 1991 and 2002 eight disks. During this period, both band members were also required as composers by artists such as Diego el Cigala, Joaquin Cortes and Vicente Amigo, among others. Negri, meanwhile, has worked as a singer with Joaquin Cortes, Paco de Lucia, Tomatito and Enrique Morente. He has also participated in other musical projects such as Armando Manzanero, Presuntos Implicados and Mecano.
