French ensemble created in 1952. It was composed of Robert Veyron-Lacroix (harpsichord), Pierre Pierlot (oboe), Robert Gendre (violin), Paul Hongne (bassoon) and Jean-Pierre Rampal (flute) replaced in 1970 by Maxence Larrieu.
