Keyboardist, bassist, producer and mixer from the USA. In 1976 he joined The Magic Band until Vliet's retirement in 1982. Then he worked with Snakefinger briefly (through whom he met Residents who he ended up working with on tours almost 20 years later) and then joined Pere Ubu in 1988. In 1993 he also start working on his solo project. In 1994 he joined PJ Harvey's band for whom his band kNIFE & fORK was once a support act on tour. In 1998 he started producing and continues doing session work for many other bands and musicians.
