A.k.a. Count Eric Stanislaus Stenbock (or Stanislaus Eric)
Baltic German poet and writer of macabre fantastic fiction (born 12 March 1860 - died 26 April 1895). Stenbock was the count of Bogesund and the heir to an estate near Kolga in Estonia. He was a true member of the aristocracy and had an eccentric reputation, matching his written work. He lived most of his life in Brighton, London and wrote his works in the English language. He died at the age of 35, either of cirrhosis of the liver, or from a blow to the head from a fall.
