Guitarist Arranger Bandleader Composer Engineer Producer: ERIC DURHAM (born Harlem, raised Brooklyn NY USA). An ORIGINAL CAMEO member, performed live, recorded with cult, Funk group CAMEO, who opened at Stadiums for thee original George Clinton's P-Funkadelic Mothership tour. 2013 touring with THE ORIGINAL CAMEO FAMILY. Also, guitarist with disco group BROOKLYN EXPRESS (hit singles: Spank, 88 & 69). Recorded on 1 full album with THE VILLAGE PEOPLE 1982 (In The Streets Album); and RENATO ZERO 1987 ("Zero" platinum double-album recorded in Rome, Italy). Often compared to a writing style of Quincy Jones. Performed with &/or Produced: Kenny Howard, Melba Moore, Elmo the Magic Christian, Michael Powers; and discovered Lillo Thomas. Eric's compositions span a spectrum of irresistible sweet ballads, R&B dance and FUNK songs. He once led a Santana cover band. With his current performing Band TOPGROOVE, Eric's guitar style rocks out tasty melodies, progressions & intonations as they keep you dancing and well entertained... as he sometimes takes to the mic to sing Prince's Purple Rain and Hendrix' Red House!
