Tracks 1-5 and 1-6 originally released as the 7" single 23 Skidoo / Subliminal in July 1981. Tracks 1-7 and 1-8 originally released as the 7" single Dow Chemical Company in May 1981. Track 1-9 originally released on the cassette compilation Feature Mist in 1982. Track 1-10 originally released on the compilation album Hours in May 1982. Tracks 2-1 to 2-6 originally released as the album Earthbound Ghost Need in March 1982 credited to Eric Random With The Bedlamites. Tracks 1-1, 1-2 and 1-4 recorded at Western Works, Sheffield on 12 April 1980. Track 1-3 recorded live (mono) at the Lyceum, London, 23 March 1980. Track 1-5 recorded at Western Works, Sheffield. Track 1-6 recorded at Cargo Studios, Rochdale. Track 1-7 recorded at Cargo Studios, Rochdale, in 1981. Track 1-8 recorded at Western Works on 4 April 1981. Tracks 2-1 to 2-4 recorded at Western Works, Sheffield on various dates in 1981. Track 2-5 recorded at Revolution Studio, Manchester. Track 2-6 recorded at Cargo, Rochdale, on 21 July 1981.
