This collection of solo works comes from three different recording sessions (2007-2009) in as many specific acoustic environments. Each track was recorded in one take except for track 4, which is a collection of touch-is-sound files, as I like to call them. There has been no editing involved inside the pieces. Tracks 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 were recorded at The Location, in Antwerp. Tracks 4 and 7 are homerecordings with a little HD stereo recorder. The album was mixed and mastered by Christophe Albertijn, at his place in Antwerp. Track 8 'a Snare is a Bell' was previously released as a single sided vinyl record on Ultra Eczema (UE49) by Dennis Tyfus. This piece for solo snaredrum and voice was recorded fall 2007 at Sint-Augustinus church in Antwerp.
