Grew up in the Washington D.C. music scene of the 80s learning his chops from area legends including Danny Gatton, Billy Hancock and Robert Gordon. Playing the D.C. clubs as a teenager, Eric sharpened his chops in blues and rockabilly and was heavily influenced by the masters of the blues like BB King, Albert Collins and John Lee Hooker. After relocating to Delaware in the early 90s, Eric formed June Evans & Mercy City and enjoyed playing many of the Atlantic City casinos, Philly and Wilmington clubs and local blues festivals for 15 years. More recently Eric played with Delaware Blues Hall of Famer Gretchen Emery and Judy Sings the Blues
