Recording: Bloch, Bridge: January 2012 at the Jesus-Christus-Kirche, Berlin-Dahlem, Germany Hough: November 2009 at the Tapiola Concert Hall, Finland Instrumentarium: Cello: the 'Marquis de Corberon' Stradivarius of 1726, on kind loan to Steven Isserlis by the Royal Academy of Music, London; it was formerly owned by the great cellist Zara Nelsova - who recorded Bloch' s Schelomo with the composer conducting on it.
