A.k.a. Esme Smith
English mezzo-soprano vocalist, daughter of Rick Smith. Esme Bronwen-Smith began her vocal studies at the junior department of Guildhall school of music and drama before completing her undergraduate degree at Royal Holloway University of London and then continuing her studies at the City Lit opera school. She made her professional debut as the soloist at the 2012 London Olympic Opening Ceremony and has since performed as a soloist in orchestral works such as ‘Sehr behaglich’ in Mahler’s Symphony No.4, Carmina Burana (Orff), both with Royal Holloway Symphony Orchestra and in various films and theatre scores.
