Esther Gordy Edwards

April 25, 1920 – August 24, 2011 Older sister of Berry Gordy. Esther helped Berry set up Motown in Detroit and served as an executive for the company, in charge of album cover designs. She also contributed to making the original Motown HQ to a museum. She died peacefully at her home in Detroit August 24th, 2011 at the age of 91
