Eva Boesch (b. 1985) is a Swiss cellist, member of Ensemble Garage (since 2009) and Trio Catch (since 2013). She received a Concert Diploma from the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste in 2008 after studying with Martina Schucan and a Master's degree with honors (under the direction of Maria Kliegel) from Musikhochschule Köln in 2011. Boesch also attended master classes with David Geringas, Jens Peter Maintz, Miklós Perényi, Siegfried Palm and Pieter Wispelwey. During the 2010/11 season, Eva Boesch served as a member of the International Ensemble Modern Academy in Frankfurt. She has been collaborating with a few prominent contemporary composers, such as Salvatore Sciarrino, Jonathan Harvey, and Klaus Huber. Eva participated in numerous international festivals, including Warsaw Autumn, Internationale Ferienkurse für Neue Musik, Darmstadt, Lucerne Festival, Wittener Tage für neue Kammermusik, the European Workshop for Contemporary Music, Biennale für moderne Musik Frankfurt, Acht Brücken – Musik für Köln, ISCM World New Music Days, Salzburger Biennale, and Impuls Festival Graz. Boesch won the first prize at the Koeckert-Competition (2007) in Zürich and received Boris Pergamenschikow Prize (2011) in Berlin for contemporary chamber music. She was supported by the Kunststiftung NRW and Friedl Wald Foundation in Basel.
