Liverpool's Withdrawn had made such an impact on the UK hardcore/metal scene with their album 'Seeds Of Inhumanity'. But line up problems posed new challenges to the band. Instead of crumbling Withdrawn found rebirth as Evanesce. The band answered my questions collectively about their incredible album 'Sower Of Sedition' and how they marked that transformation. Er... but not quite like butterflies. Think of something a little nastier. Lets just say, the transformation is complete and we've got ourselves a most formidable death metal band that is as much rooted in the UK scene as it is to the European sound.
