Vangelis Karipis is a Greek percussionist and music teacher, born in 1971 in Athens, Greece. He studied Byzantine music and is member of the bands "Trio" (alongside Haig Yazdjian & Γιώτης Κιουρτσόγλου) and "Ara Dinkjian Quartet" (alongside Σωκράτης Σινόπουλος & Γιάννης Κυριμκυρίδης).
