Everett Lilly is one of the forefathers of bluegrass music. A former Grand Ole Opry star performing with Flatt & Scruggs, he made his mark on music history performing with his brother “B” as The Lilly Brothers. He was honored by the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) as an inductee in 2002 in their Hall of Honor and along with The Lilly Mountaineers, won their 2008 Recorded Event of the Year award. He was inducted into the WV Music Hall of Fame and the Massachusetts Country Music Hall of Fame. He was the 2009 recipient of the WV Vandalia Award.
