Reggae producer behind the Hungry Town and Corona (12) labels, also running his record store in Corona (Queens) / distribution operation Corona Records (7), sometimes credited as E. Da-Silva; after Da Silva was murdered in N.Y. in 1979, his partner Byron Whitely kept the business (99-18 Northen Blvd, Corona, Queens, N.Y.), and renamed it Island In The Sun Records Inc., along with the label Island In The Sun.
